The Junior Chefs Academy at Loughborough College has been the starting point for many of the College’s successful students. Many of the students in our junior chefs’ academy programme progress on to apply for our Professional Chef Diploma courses

No formal qualifications are required but applicants should have a strong interest in their chosen subject. Our Junior Chefs Academy programme is for 10 to 16-year-olds offers a great opportunity, excellent tuition and a certificate on completion. Courses take place in our state of the art Koppertcress academy kitchen

You will learn to cook a range of dishes, knife skills and food preparation techniques. Recipe packs are issued on the first day of class. You will get to take whatever you cook or bake home and will receive a certificate at our graduation presentation lunch at the end of the course.
