1. This package is offered by way of monthly Direct Debit Mandate payments, Annual Fee paid in full or Short Term Fee paid in full. Should you join prior to the 20th day of the month, a fee for the remaining days of the month will Direct Debit payments will be taken and Direct Debit payments will commence on or around the 1st of the following month. Memberships started after the 20th day of the month will be subject to a fee for the remainder of the month in question and additionally, the following month. Direct Debit payments will then commence on or around the 1st day of the 2nd full month of membership.
  2. Direct Debit payments will be taken on a monthly basis until such time as a cancellation request has been made by a member in writing to the Centre Manager. Please ensure that you notify us at least 24 days prior to your next Direct Debit due date to ensure cancellation proceeds at the end of the preferred month. If your order is not made on time then the Centre reserve the right to withdraw or cancel your membership until the fees due have been paid.
  3. If you cancel your membership for any reason, it may be necessary to pay a further joining fee when you restart. In exceptional circumstances, i.e. injury or pregnancy, you may be allowed to defer your membership for an agreed period. (A maximum of 6 months). This request must be to the Centre Manager, in writing, stating the reason for deferral and including supporting medical evidence.
  4. We reserve the right to decline your application.
  5. In order to take out a membership, the applicant must be at least 16 years of age at the start date of the membership. No exceptions will be considered. There is no maximum age limit on membership
  6. Paid in full memberships can be transferred to a friend or relative who can then take over the remainder of your existing membership. A nominal administration charge of £25 for the transfer will be made to the new member. Please contact the Centre for a transferral form.
  7. All Members are required to show and swipe their Membership Cards at Reception. A webcam photograph will be required on joining for identification purposes
  8. Members will be refused free entry (where applicable) into centre activities without a valid Membership Card. There is a small charge of £4 to replace lost cards. Membership cards are non-transferable and must only be used by the named cardholder. We reserve the right to cancel a Membership if these conditions are not adhered to. The cardholder only can make bookings.
  9. Certain activities under the Fitness Membership require prior booking to guarantee availability. This is particularly true of the fitness studio and aerobic/spinning classes, where numbers are limited. Depending on your membership type, your membership entitles you to book up to fourteen days in advance for these activities (Seven days for sports hall/pitch hire).
  10. Booking times for all fitness/aerobic activities must be adhered to for health and safety reasons. As a result, if you attend at a later or earlier time than booked you may be refused entry.
  11. Please make every effort to advise the Centre if not attending a pre-booked exercise class or appointment. This will allow other customers to utilise the space. Members who do not attend booked sessions (excluding classes) without 24 hours prior notice will be charged the current cost of the missed activity. Members who do not attend booked exercise classes without a minimum of 2 hours prior notice 3 times in a 4 week period will have their booking rights revoked.
  12. You must use all equipment and facilities as instructed and permitted and give safe regard to your own health and safety and to that of others. Whilst using the free weights, please ensure all weights are used correctly and returned to the racks after use. We reserve the right to remove any member not adhering to safe practices within the centre
  13. We will write to inform you a minimum of two weeks before the introduction of any price increase. We ask that you please inform us if your personal details change i.e. address, telephone no, email.
  14. We reserve the right to withdraw all or any part of our facilities for any periods where we require them for exhibitions, certain curriculum activities or in connection with repair, alteration or maintenance work. Refunds will not be applicable under these conditions. We also reserve the right to offer alternative activities in the event of cancellation due to factors beyond our control.
  15. We accept no liability for lost or stolen goods whilst on our premises unless as a direct result of our negligence. Property stored in lockers is at your own risk. Cars parked in the car park and all contents in them are your responsibility and we will not accept any liability for loss or damage to them.
  16. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit to use the facilities and you should inform a member of the Fitness Team if your health or any medical conditions/medication changes.
  17. Members shall complete the PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) prior to commencement of a membership. Access to facilities may be denied if a member answers yes to any question on the PARQ until such time as suitable medical support or evidence is provided detailing the member’s suitability to use the facility. Where required the client shall complete a fitness test to the satisfaction of the Centre before any programme/activity commences. Centre staff may deny access to the client if in their opinion the Client may be at risk if they were to undertake an exercise or fitness improvement program or any other specific activity.
  18. When setting up a Direct Debit Mandate, we will require proof of ID, i.e., passport, utility bill.
  19. The Radmoor Centre reserves the right to adjust or amend the terms and conditions as necessary without prior notice.
  20. We recommend all users provide a towel whilst exercising to control perspiration on equipment, and a drinks bottle for rehydration. We also ask all members to respectfully clean equipment after usage in preparation for the next user in order to maintain hygiene standards.
  21. We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any point if your behaviour is deemed to fall outside of what is considered reasonable within the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, physical and verbal abuse of other users and staff, threatening behaviour and lewd conduct. You will not be entitled to any full or part refund of any membership fee paid.
